Mục Lục

Hi all of r/femalefashionadvice, I'd like to start off saying that I am sorry if anything in this post comes off oddly as I am not so sure on how to ask for fashion advice.

I am not comfortable posting a picture of myself, or my body, so I'll do my best to describe to you what I look like. I'm a 22 years old Asian female, I'm 5'3 and also on the chubby side. I was a bigger girl but have since lost about 20+ pounds (and still working on it!)

My entire life I've always been really plain and a tomboy, with no eye for fashion. I love wearing jeans, t shirts, and sneakers. I don't even wear make up, and many people think I'm around 17 years old or still in high school.

The most "feminine" pieces of clothing I own and wear are leggings/jeggings and flats. I do have a lot of girly blouses, but I do not like to wear them.

My question is, I still want to dress the way that makes me comfortable. I used to try really hard to dress in styles that doesn't make me comfortable because I felt like I had to please the people around me as I've been told a lot that I am not feminine enough. I just love wearing things that are comfortable is all!

I find that the only thing I'm against wearing are shorts or skirts of any sort, and bright colors. I want to maintain my comfortable tomboy look, but I'm striving to have a more mature and feminine touch to it. I don't like feeling like I dress too much like a guy, so do any of you guys/gals have any tips or advice on how I can incorporate a more feminine look to my current fashion?

I currently wear a lot of v-necks/scoop-necks with jeans or leggings/jeggings with sneakers. What can I add or remove from that to elevate my fashion a little so that I'm not too plain? Again, I still prefer to keep my tomboy-type of fashion, but it would be nice to find a way to add onto it to make it a bit more fashionable or make it a little more feminine.

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate it!

Edit: Does anyone have tips on no-show socks? I can't, for the life of me, get them to stop slipping. I tried different types of shoes and sizes of shoes, but they keep slipping. Wearing them without shoes, I never have an issue of course.
